Western University Policy and Regulations

The academic policies and regulations of the French Immersion School and Western University apply to all students studying at the School. Academic policies and regulations are described in the University's academic calendar, which may be consulted at Western, at the School office or on the web:

Refund Policy

The application fee is non-refundable. Requests for withdrawal received a minimum of 30 calendar days prior to the course start date will be granted a full refund of the deposit or total fees paid less a $50 cancellation charge. Requests for withdrawal less than 30 and more than 15 calendar days prior to the section start date will be granted a refund of 75% of course fees. No refunds are given after 15 days prior to the start of a course.

Academic work outside of the program

Due to the intensity of the immersion program, academic work outside of, but concurrent with your Trois-Pistoles course, such as an online course, is not recommended. Your immersion experience requires your full and exclusive attention.

Placement Test
If you do not have the required prerequisite for a course, please complete the online placement test and select an appropriate level course.  Adjustments, if any, will be made in Trois-Pistoles after consultation with an instructor.
