How-to-apply.PNG

All applicants are required to complete a brief questionnaire describing previous French language studies (if any), any accommodation requirements and anticipated travel arrangements.  This will help place you in an appropriate level course as well as with a suitable local family.

Please have the following information on hand when applying:

EXPLORE BURSARY

If you are eligible for the Explore bursary, please apply before the deadline.  Bursaries are awarded by random draw at the end of March and if you have been awarded the bursary you will be notified by both your provincial coordinator and by Western University.

Step One

Apply online for an Explore Bursary. Remember to select our school as your first choice.

Step Two

Print a copy of the declaration form and have it signed and sealed by your institution. Then, submit the form and proof of citizenship or permanent residency to the Explore portal by the early-bird deadline of February 15.

Western Students: Your declaration form can be completed by Student Central on Main Campus (WSS 1120).

Step Three

Wait for the draw results. The results are usually known at the end of March. You will receive an email from Explore. If you are awarded a bursary to Trois-Pistoles, you will automatically receive registration information via email from the French Immersion School. (You might be put on a waiting list. If so, we will contact you as soon as your name appears on the list).
